Caitlin is classically trained and performs in a wide range of styles and genres, from opera to rock. She is an experienced soloist and collaborative artist.
Musicologist
Caitlin’s research centers around popular and rock music, with a special emphasis on nostalgia and uses of the past in late sixties and early seventies rock.
Educator
Caitlin is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Music History at the University of Redlands. She has taught music history and industry courses at UCLA and Chapman University and has over a decade of experience teaching music in private and classroom settings.
Entreprenuer
Caitlin is co-founder of Music Universe – a music education company aimed at bring quality and consistent music education programming to schools and communities. She is also the creator of Music Universe’s own 5th-8th grade music curriculum – Music in our World.
